RBL Bank switches to Shoprite Credit Card from its Edition Credit Card

As per the partnership between RBL Bank and Zomato Limited, the RBL Bank Edition Black Credit Card and RBL Bank Classic Credit Card will be discontinued. To provide exclusive benefits and a seamless experience to its cardholders, RBL Bank is replacing these Edition Classic/Black Credit Cards with the Lifetime Free RBL Bank Shoprite Credit Card. This new card will be delivered directly to the cardholder’s registered address.

The Shoprite Credit Card offers several advantages, allowing cardholders to earn up to Rs.6000 every year on purchases, making it one of the most rewarding credit card brands in the market.

Here are some of the benefits that cardholders will enjoy:

• You’ll earn 20 reward points for every Rs.100 spent on groceries (maximum of 1000 bonus points per month).
• As a welcome benefit, you’ll get 2000 reward points when you complete the following steps:

1. Pay the initial card application fee before the due date.
2. Make a valid purchase within 30 days after activating the card.
3. Download and activate the RBL MyCard mobile app.

• You’ll get 1 reward point for every Rs.100 spent on all purchases, excluding fuel expenses.
• Fuel surcharges are waived for transactions between Rs.500 and Rs.4000 (maximum of Rs.100) per month.
• Enjoy a 10% discount on bookings via BookMyShow (maximum of Rs.100) up to 15 times per year.

Shoprite Credit Card – Important Facts:

• RBL Bank will begin issuing the Shoprite Credit Card on May 15, 2023.
• Bonus points can be redeemed on rblrewards.com.
• Existing dues, EMIs, and payments can be transferred to the new Shoprite Credit Card.
• If you still have Edition Cash on your Edition card, you can redeem it via the Zomato Application until 14th May 2023. You’ll receive cashback on your Shoprite Credit Card by 30th May 2023 if there is outstanding Edition Cash on your card.
• If you paid your Edition annual fee after 1st May 2022, it will be reversed by 10th May 2023 and credited to your new card.
